Introduction
Reshop provides a technology-powered service that helps participating Retailers manage refunds for you and enables you to choose to have eligible refunds issued instantly. By accessing the Reshop Platform, you agree to the Reshop Terms of Service and the Retailer’s Returns Policy found on their website.
Eligible customers have the option to have their refund issued instantly (an Instantly Issued Refund), before the return is received and assessed by the Retailer. Instantly Issued Refunds are powered by Reshop.
This Refunds page explains how Instantly Issued Refunds work, including your responsibilities when you choose this option.
Important note regarding your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
If you are entitled to a refund because goods do not meet the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, you may choose to obtain a standard refund directly from the Retailer at no additional cost.
Instantly Issued Refunds are not available for every return.
Eligibility is determined in connection with your return and may depend on factors including the items being returned, the return reason, the refund amount and other eligibility criteria.
You must be at least 18 years old to select an Instantly Issued Refund.
In order to access the Reshop Platform and receive an Instantly Issued Refund, you are required to provide us with a payment method in the form of a card or bank account (“Payment Method”). Your Payment Method may be charged if you do not comply with the conditions of your return or are not entitled to all or part of the refund you received.
If an Instantly Issued Refund is not available, you may continue to use the standard refund options available under the Retailer’s Returns Policy.
A Service Fee may apply if you choose to have your refund issued instantly through the Instantly Issued Refund service.
The Service Fee is charged for facilitating and processing your refund immediately, rather than requiring you to wait for the Retailer's standard refund process to be completed.
Any applicable Service Fee will be clearly disclosed to you before you choose and confirm an Instantly Issued Refund.
You are not required to select an Instantly Issued Refund. You may instead choose the standard refund process under the Retailer’s Returns Policy.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
If you are entitled to a refund because goods do not meet the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, you may choose to obtain a standard refund directly from the Retailer at no additional cost.
If you instead choose to receive an Instantly Issued Refund before the Retailer receives and assesses your returned items, an Instantly Issued Refund Service Fee may apply.
Any Service Fee relates solely to the service of facilitating and processing your refund instantly and does not affect, reduce or replace any refund or other remedy to which you may be entitled under the Australian Consumer Law.
To return your items, follow the instructions outlined in your Reshop confirmation email - ensuring that you:
Your return will be monitored using the shipping or drop-off tracking information associated with your return.
An Instantly Issued Refund is issued before your items are received or assessed.
Once the Retailer receives your return, they will assess it in accordance with the Retailer’s Returns Policy.
Depending on the outcome of that assessment, the Retailer may adjust or reject the refund in accordance with their Returns Policy.
If the Retailer determines that you are not entitled to all or part of the refund you received, Reshop will collect the relevant amount from the Payment Method you provided when you selected your Instantly Issued Refund.
If you receive an Instantly Issued Refund but do not ship or drop off the relevant items within the required timeframe, you will be in breach of the Retailer’s Returns Policy.
